We got a call at 1am Saturday morning informing us that our flight was cancelled. We spent the next 3 hours on hold with United trying to figure out how to reschedule our flight, with no success. Finally at 4:30 we went to sleep. At 10:00am we then called back to only have a 12 minute hold time with United. Geez! The totally confused support guy basically told us he had no idea what was going on and we just had to wait and watch. We realized that we only had until Monday morning to board a plane before we started missing our tour. It wasn't looking good. Rick Steve's people (tour company) were semi-helpful, they would rebook our tour, but only in any remaining 2010spots. Kinda hard when you have a wedding coming up!

On Sunday we realized that there were lots of people ahead of us for the first few flights out, so we weren't likely going to get to go. We were able to book the same tour in August. Plane tickets are $500 more a person, but at least (for now) we still get to go.
